Shipping & Delivery

The shipping cost for your purchases will be determined by the total value of your order. For orders less than $300, standard domestic (US) shipping is $10. For orders greater than $300, standard domestic (US) shipping is FREE. Standard domestic (US) shipping includes ground delivery services only with delivery within 3-5 business days. If you require expedited shipping services, such as overnight delivery, extra charges may be incurred. Please note that the shipping time does not include the production time of made-to-order items. If you are shipping within the USA, sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to the state of Georgia. No other tax or import duty will be applied to orders shipped within the USA. Please note that all non-customs related local taxes are the customer's responsibility. MEL BOTERI, LLC is not responsible for reporting or paying additional local taxes to states, such as Use Tax.  

 

For International (Rest of World) orders, shipping charges are also FREE for orders greater than $300. For orders less than $300, standard international shipping rates will be calculated at the time of checkout. For all international orders, customer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). Standard international shipping includes international economy delivery only.  If you require expedited shipping services, extra charges may be incurred. Please note that the shipping time does not include the production time of made-to-order items. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

 

When you place your order with MEL BOTERI, LLC, you will receive an automated confirmation of your order upon completion of checkout. For our custom products made to suit your individual style, please allow approximately 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. For our ready-made products, we will ship your item(s) within 3-5 business days via ground delivery (for domestic USA orders) and international economy (for international orders). In the case that your product is not in stock, we will notify immediately via phone or email with an expected date of arrival. Before we can dispatch your purchases, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum.

 

For fashion emergencies, expedited NEXT DAY or 2nd DAY air delivery is available for in stock items, However, additional shipping costs may be incurred. Please email shipping@melboteri.com to request this service with your purchase.  

 

Made-to-order products typically take 2 to 4 weeks for delivery, and will be designated as such in their product description. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information to track your shipment online. Orders, both international and domestic, are normally shipped by UPS or Federal Express. MEL BOTERI, LLC will not be responsible for shipping delays caused by a carrier.  

 

MEL BOTERI, LLC insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. The delivery of your package may be delayed if no one is present at the time of delivery. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.  If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by MEL BOTERI, LLC and transfer of responsibility in the same way. We encourage clients to carefully review their address information during checkout and in all confirmation emails to ensure proper delivery of all packages.     

 

Hand deliveries are available for certain locations in the state of Georgia.  If you prefer, you may also come to our showroom to pick up your order.
