Pastels are not only versatile and pretty, but I find that there is a shade to compliment every skin tone as well. Spring is the ideal time to rock a pastel shade, and one of my personal favorites is blush pink.
Girly, effortless, and ideal for the new season, I love pairing blush with white or light blue denim to give a real, laid-back springtime feel.
Some people stray away from lighter shades, thinking that they won't be that flattering, but there's certainly no evidence (that I have found) to back up that claim. Check out these ways to rock blush, and you'll hopefully develop the same lust I have for this beautiful pastel!
1. Casual Blush
Casual does not have to be boring, and this gorgeous Gianluca Cappanolo cami dress is not only on-trend, but it also offers the perfect blend of sexy and sweet. Throw on a long-line sweater, such as this By Malene Birger cardigan, and you'll be fashionably layered to tackle both outdoor and indoor temps.

2. Trend-Setting Blush
Edgy isn't just about rocking black leather or red accents to stand out in a bold way. When done properly it can be achieved with pastels as well, and blush is the perfect choice for setting new trends and standing out from the crowd. This Prada pleated skirt is feminine and floaty, but when paired with a patterned shirt, such as this knitted Joseph Tweed top, you turn cute and innocent into edgy and stylish!

3. Work-Ready Blush
The shift dress has many manifestations, and this Alexis dress proves that you can give shape to this timeless classic while wearing it in the season's top shades. The billow sleeves are ultra-flattering, and I love the low-cut neckline. Toughen up your look with a pair of black shoes, such as Dolce & Gabbana's envy-inspiring sandals, and you'll be on the right side of the leaderboard.

As you can see, pastels are nothing to fear and alternatively should be considered by all skin tones and body types.
Next week we will be tackling white, and no, we’re not heading down the aisle. We’re going to help make you look ultra-summery while showing off your tan (whether you have one yet or not). See you then!
