Style Guide: How To Incorporate Denim Into Your Office Attire

If you haven't noticed, we talk about denim a lot! It's such a classic, and I firmly believe denim is good for any occasion. However, office environments tend to make it difficult to wear this fine fabric, with their tendency to be more formal and in some extremes even colorless and dull. But I've always loved a good challenge, so here are my tricks on how to sneak this trend into your 9 to 5 wardrobe.  

COMFORTABLE JEANS

For office attire, flared jeans are a nice option because they typically aren't as tight, but the right pair of skinny jeans can be great for work as well. You can style them with stilettos or oxfords plus your favorite work shirt or blouse.

Black jeans make it especially easy to get away with denim at work, and as long as they aren't super faded you will have most colleagues fooled! Faya's look is a classic, and great option for any office setting.

STYLISH DENIM SKIRTS

For a more conservative office environment, a denim skirt is a great alternative. Keep your top and jackets to more simple, classic styles, and let the skirt be your statement piece. In terms of accessories, I recommend stacking watches with bracelets to add a little glamour. CLASSIC DENIM SHIRTS

Denim shirts are very practical, and they can be worn in endless ways. If your work environment requires dress pants, a chambray shirt will add the perfect touch of denim into your wardrobe. Match them with pencil skirts, slacks, or even jeans for a casual work space. Jane's layered look is so perfect and pretty for fall!
